Press STL is a new pizzeria concept that we had the pleasure of designing and building for the acclaimed team behind The Lucky Accomplice. Our task was to transform a former car resell shop into a cozy and inviting restaurant that serves delicious pizzas and other dishes. One of the main challenges we faced was the sloped floor, which covered more than half of the space. We had to find a way to create functional and accessible spaces for the kitchen, dining, and restroom areas. Our solution was to create different levels for each area, and to use a sloped floor/ramp that connects them all. This way, we ensured that the restaurant meets the accessibility standards and also creates a unique and dynamic atmosphere. We are proud of the result and we hope that the customers enjoy the food and the ambiance of Press STL.
